Vice President, Governance & Policy Assessment

Accountabilities:

1. Compliance

• Review non-compliance issues and find solutions to ad hoc problems within an assigned unit or discipline.
• Involves working under guidance and within existing compliance systems.

2. Fraud/Financial Crime Investigation

• Investigate cases of suspected fraud or financial crime.
• Identify lines of enquiry, and gather and retain information and physical or electronic evidence to support criminal investigation and/or legal action, engaging specialist investigators or subject-matter experts where necessary.
• Review the evidence gathered and recommend appropriate action to the organization.

3. Reporting & Proposals

• Prepare and establish proposals and report paper on related matters on Integrity & Governance to be presented to the management and board of directors while ensuring the interests of the company.

4. Advice & Subject Matter Expert

• Review and amend policy drafts by working closely with stakeholders to examine the efficacy of existing policies and laying out the groundwork, and propose suggestions to improve the effects of existing policies in order to meet objectives and goals.
