JOB PURPOSE & OVERVIEW

Responsible for assisting the Team Lead of Enforcement Unit in exercising the power of corporation under the relevant Section of PSMB Act 2001 and its regulations, particularly focusing on the enforcement activities and maintaining documentation integrity.

 

  

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.

Enforcement Plan & Intelligence

Coordinate the implementation of risk-based enforcement strategies by analysing compliance data, identifying trends, and profiling high-risk employers. This supports targeted enforcement planning and optimises resource allocation.

 

Recommend improvement measures and enforcement priorities based on data insights and industry developments. This enhances regulatory effectiveness and ensures alignment with organisational objectives and statutory requirements.

 

2.

Enforcement Operations & Case Management

Coordinate enforcement operations, including inspections, investigations, and case follow-ups, to ensure timely and consistent execution of enforcement actions. This includes providing guidance on case handling and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

 

Manage enforcement case progress by monitoring timelines, resolving operational issues, and ensuring proper documentation and closure of cases. This strengthens accountability and ensures consistency in enforcement outcomes.

 

3.

Operational Governance & Stakeholder Management

Oversee operational coordination by managing workflows, facilitating inter-unit collaboration, and ensuring alignment of resources to meet enforcement objectives. This supports efficient and timely delivery of enforcement activities.

 

Manage stakeholder engagements by liaising with employers and relevant parties to address enforcement matters, resolve issues, and promote compliance awareness. This enhances transparency and strengthens stakeholder relationships.

 

4.

Compliance Monitoring, Intervention & Remediation

Monitor and assess employer compliance levels by analysing patterns of non-compliance and identifying areas requiring enforcement intervention. This supports proactive enforcement and targeted compliance strategies.

Coordinate enforcement interventions and follow-up actions to ensure timely remediation of non-compliance cases. This includes tracking corrective measures and ensuring sustained compliance improvements.

 

5.

Reporting, Analytics & Compliance Assurance

Analyse enforcement data and prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and insights to support management decision-making and performance monitoring. This includes identifying trends and highlighting key risks.

 

Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of enforcement data and reports by implementing validation checks and maintaining high data governance standards. This strengthens compliance assurance and supports strategic oversight.

QUALIFICATION & RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Educational Qualification

  • At least Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Degree in Law / Enforcement or equivalent.

 

Relevant Experience (skills & knowledge)

  • Minimum 5-7 years of working experience. Experience in enforcement & compliance field is an added advantage.
  • Certification in law enforcement / compliance is an added advantage.
