JOB PURPOSE & OVERVIEW

Oversee the administration process and document management for implementation of government or strategic initiatives under Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad for the governance and compliance purpose.

  

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.

Financial Management and Project Implementation Oversight

Monitor and process the financial aspects of government project implementation, ensuring adherence to budgetary allocations and alignment with program objectives.

 

Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective execution of projects, contributing to the achievement of national development goals.

 

2.

Stakeholder Engagement and Impact Assessment

Deal with relevant authorities, associations, and stakeholders to maximise the impact of special projects and initiatives for the benefit of the nation.

 

Develop guidelines and standards for project implementation based on industry needs, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.

 

3.

Compliance and Performance Reporting

Ensure compliance in the administration processes of special projects and initiatives, providing timely and accurate performance reports to stakeholders.

 

Monitor project progress against key milestones, identifying and addressing any deviations to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

 

4.

Advisory Services and Resource Planning

Engage with relevant parties and industries to provide advisory services on project-related issues, ensuring effective targeting of project outcomes.

 

Plan and develop process flows for initiatives, executing implementation strategies to ensure smooth project delivery with optimal resource allocation and cost management.

 

5.

Talent Management and Budget Control

Provide a motivating work environment, identifying high-potential employees for succession planning and recommending development needs as required.

 

Continuously monitor actual expenditure against budget, implementing appropriate control measures to ensure effective and efficient operations within approved financial parameters.

Foster and sustain effective working relationships and rapport with the internal stakeholders and relevant government authorities, business and management institutions, national and key industry players and service providers to keep abreast with latest development to capture new business opportunities.

 

10.

LEADERSHIP AND CAPABILITY DEVELOPMENT (VP & ABOVE)

Drive the development of a competent working team that will enhance and sustain staff capabilities in achieving high performance delivery to ensure internalisation of the right leadership and capabilities in executing their jobs.

 

Foster the development of talents by providing guidance and avenue to potential employees for succession planning and recommend development needs as required to ensure grooming of talents in align to the best interest of the talent and PSMB’s vision and mission.

 

 

SECTION 5: QUALIFICATION & RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Educational Qualification

  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in Business Management, Economic, Finance and any relevant discipline

Relevant Experience (skills & knowledge)

  • 8 to 10 years of experience as with exposure and understanding of risk, financial management and decision making or having experience in fund administration process.
