JOB PURPOSE & OVERVIEW

To ensure the effective verification and compliance of training grants by conducting detailed inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and managing records and databases, thereby supporting program integrity and adherence to HRD Corp guidelines.

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.

Training Verifications and Inspections

Conduct training verifications and inspections by reviewing all or selected approved training grants from both levy and non-levy schemes, using physical, online, or email methods to ensure compliance with HRD Corp guidelines.

 

Capture and compile inspection data by gathering all relevant information during verifications and systematically organising it into comprehensive reports, ensuring that the data is accurate and ready for quality assurance and approval.

 

2.

Inspection Reporting

Prepare comprehensive reports on inspection findings by organising and pre-reviewing all collected data to verify its accuracy, ensuring that the information is consistent and ready for submission.

 

Maintain an organised records management system by systematically filing all inspection findings and disciplinary documentation to enhance the transparency and accountability in the verification process.

 

3.

Database Management

Manage database entries for approved HRD Corp schemes by ensuring that all tools and renovations are recorded, purchased, installed, and utilised in compliance with HRD Corp guidelines, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

 

Update and verify records by regularly reviewing and managing the database to ensure compliance with HRD Corp guidelines, supporting effective tracking of approved schemes and adherence to operational procedures.

 

4.

Disciplinary Action and Compliance Enforcement

Monitor compliance by tracking employers’ and training providers’ training sessions during the monitoring period through systematic observation to identify and prevent non-compliance, thereby maintaining program integrity.

 

Monitor and implement disciplinary actions on identified compliance issues by evaluating inspection findings and coordinating with relevant stakeholders, ensuring that non-compliant activities are addressed promptly and effectively.

 

5.

Document and Record Management

Manage documentation and filing related to training verifications, inspections, and disciplinary actions by organising and maintaining records to ensure transparency and accountability in compliance processes.

 

Verify and update records by regularly reviewing and ensuring that all documentation is complete, accurate, and accessible for audits and quality assurance purposes.

Foster and sustain effective working relationships and rapport with the internal stakeholders and relevant government authorities, business and management institutions, national and key industry players and service providers to keep abreast with latest development to capture new business opportunities.

QUALIFICATION & RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree/ Professional Degree in Law/ Enforcement or any related fields.

 

Relevant Experience (skills & knowledge)

  • 1 – 5 years of experience with with government entity or agency is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
