JOB PURPOSE & OVERVIEW

To oversee and optimise the vendor management processes within the Training Market Department, ensuring the efficient registration, evaluation, and compliance of training providers.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Vendor Registration Oversight

  • Administer the registration and application processes for training providers, including handling new registrations, renewals, and cancellations, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate provider records.
  • Monitor the status of training providers, alert inactive ones to re-register and renew their status, and implement follow-up procedures to address non-compliance issues, thereby ensuring uninterrupted vendor engagement and accurate provider information.

 

Compliance Management

  • Oversee the suspension processes for training providers that fail to meet compliance standards by implementing suspension and blacklist measures, which ensures that only compliant providers can conduct HRDF levy-funded programs.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance measures to manage blacklisted providers, thereby protecting the interests of stakeholders and maintaining program integrity.


Strategic Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic engagement initiatives with external stakeholders, including training providers, trainers, and consultants, by designing and executing comprehensive communication and partnership strategies, which drive enhanced collaboration and program effectiveness.
  • Strategise and oversee stakeholder relationship management activities, including handling high-level appeals and complaints and conducting advanced briefings on complex procedural updates, thereby elevating stakeholder satisfaction and reinforcing the strategic alignment of vendor management processes.


Strategic Reports and Data Cleansing

  • Lead the development of comprehensive statistical reports on vendor performance and market trends by analysing complex data sets to drive strategic planning and decisionmaking, thereby providing critical insights that influence departmental and organisational strategies.
  • Oversee the strategic data cleansing for HRD Corp registered training providers by   ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of records, which enhances operational efficiency and supports high-level decision-making and strategic initiatives.


Program Development and Innovation

  • Lead the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives to recognise and reward high-performing training providers, thereby driving innovation and motivation within the vendor community.
  • Promote and support strategies to attract international training providers to the Malaysian market, including fostering collaborations and branch establishments, which enhances the diversity and quality of training options available.

 

QUALIFICATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  •  Bachelor’s Degree or postgraduate study in management, business or any related fields.
  •  7 - 9 years of experience in business operation environment with strong business acumen and understand the intricacies of the services and industrial sectors.
